we lurrrrrrv this place!
it's a place in downtown bangkok (sukhumvit 11) where everyone (and i mean evvvvvvvryone) comes to have a drink or two before heading to the bars of their choice. ours normally is Bed or Santika.
cheap charlie's is a gypsy-inspired al fresco drinkout-session bar, with lots of whathaveyou's from every country in the world--bills, wooden mini-sculpture, posters, cowry shells, everything!
everytime we drop by, we always see familiar faces or meet new friends; and when the clock ticks 11:00, it's time to head out and parteeeee!
